With four included cardboard gates, players can create their own circuits, bringing the chaos of Mario Kart into their own home. The game uses the kart’s built-in camera to stream a live feed to the Switch, adding digital elements like item boxes, hazards, and rival racers for a truly immersive experience.

A race like no other

While the kart moves through your home in real-time, the game overlays dynamic race conditions that affect gameplay. Driving through virtual lava sections slows the kart, while underwater tracks change the handling. Classic Mario Kart power-ups also make an appearance, allowing players to launch shells, drop banana peels, and use speed boosts. The mix of physical and digital elements keeps races unpredictable and engaging, whether playing solo or against AI-controlled Koopalings.
