A quirky and fun minigame collection

Game & Wario gives a nod to the past and takes its name (and iconic logo styling) from Nintendo’s series of LCD electronic games known as Game & Watch. It’s a party/minigame-themed title, delivering gameplay in a way that players will be familiar with from earlier WarioWare games. The eighth installment in the WarioWare series, it revolves around 16 minigames played using the Wii U GamePad.

The controls were incredibly versatile, taking full advantage of the GamePad’s touchscreen, motion controls, and the traditional Wii U controller. Whether you were flinging fruit at a target or controlling a spaceship with a tilt, the game offered a fresh and entertaining experience that kept you coming back for more.

Iconic Wario characters and offbeat humour

The game featured a roster of well-known characters from the Wario universe, including Wario himself, Mona, 9-Volt, and Dr. Crygor. Each character had their own set of mini-games, providing a unique and often hilarious twist on everyday situations. True to the WarioWare series, the humour was eccentric and over-the-top, ensuring plenty of laughs along the way. From bizarre scenarios to offbeat dialogue, Game & Wario embraced its quirky charm, making it stand out as a lighthearted and fun game to play with friends and family.

Great for parties and casual gaming

While the single-player experience was fun, Game & Wario really shone in multiplayer mode. Many of the mini-games were designed for multiple players, making it a great party game. Whether you were competing in a fast-paced challenge or just goofing off with friends, the game was packed with enjoyable moments that didn’t require a lot of time to invest. Its pick-up-and-play nature made it perfect for casual gaming, offering instant fun in short bursts. If you were looking for a fun, offbeat game to lighten the mood, Game & Wario was an excellent choice.
